Detection of cell proliferation
Cell proliferation produces many important changes, including DNA synthesis, increased cell metabolism, and expression of proliferation-specific proteins. Based on the next-generation AbFluor ™ fluorescent staining technology, Abbkine has developed products that can not only accurately detect cell proliferation directly from the DNA level, but also achieve high-throughput detection of cell proliferation status through the cellular metabolism level. The kit contains a patented cell proliferation negative control, which can perfectly solve the problem of non-standardization of the current proliferation test results. At present, there are two commonly used detection methods, EdU and CCK8.

Apoptosis is a process of death in which cells respond to the physiological and pathological stimulation signals of the environment, changes in environmental conditions, or orderly changes in response to palliative damage. After incubation of cells with CoCl2 (1mM), the green fluorescence of Calcein in the cytoplasm was quenched by CoCl2, leaving only the green fluorescence in the mitochondria (B). Treatment of the cells with Ionomycin (0.25μM) induced a large influx of extracellular Ca2+ into the cells, and excess Ca2+ into the mitochondrial matrix, resulting in the opening of MPTP, allowing partial Calcein release from the inner mitochondria, as well as cobalt ions entering the mitochondria and causing quenching of the green fluorescence of Calcein (C).
