Product name | One-step TUNEL Apoptosis Assay Kit (Green Fluorescence) |
Applications notes | Abbkine One-step TUNEL Apoptosis Assay Kit (Green Fluorescence) relies on the presence of nicks in the DNA which can be identified by TdT, an enzyme that catalyzes the addition of dUTPs that are labeled with fluorescein. This kit provides all the essential components with an optimized assay protocol, suitable for fluorescence microplate reader, fluorescence microscope, or flow cytometer. Its signal can be easily detected at the popular FITC channel ( Ex/Em = 490nm/520 nm). |
Kit components | • TdT Enzyme • Equilibration Buffer (5×) •Label Mix Green •DAPI (500×) •BSA Working Solution •TritonX-100 (100%) •DNase I (5 U/µL) |
Features & Benefits | • Optimized assay protocol, suitable for fluorescence microplate reader, fluorescence microscope, or flow cytometer. • Signal can be easily detected at the popular FITC channel (Ex/Em = 490nm/520 nm). |
Usage notes | The reaction buffer contains cacodylate and cobalt chloride, highly toxic chemicals. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately. Do not drink, eat or smoke when using. |
Storage instructions | Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C from date of shipment. Once opened, refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components. |
Shipping | Gel pack with blue ice. |

Background | One of the most easily measured features of apoptotic cells is the break-up of the genomic DNA by cellular nucleases. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) is a method for detecting DNA fragmentation by labeling the 3′-hydroxyl termini in the double-strand DNA breaks generated during apoptosis. The TUNEL assay relies on the presence of nicks in the DNA which can be identified by TdT, an enzyme that catalyzes the addition of dUTPs that are labeled with fluorescein. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
