Product name Human IL-18 protein
Sequence Amino acid sequence derived from Human IL-18 isoform (Q14116) ( Tyr37-Asp193) was expressed.
Protein length The recombinant Human IL-18 consists of 158 amino acids (N-Met) and has a predicted molecular mass of 18 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the Human IL-18 protein is approximately 18 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions
Preparation method E. coli
Purity ≥ 98 % as determined by SDS-PAGE

Product Properties

Formulation Lyophilized from sterile 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl pH 7.5.
Molecular weight 18 kDa
Usage notes Always centrifuge tubes before opening . It is recommended to centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 minute. Then reconstitute the lyophilized Human IL-18 protein with the buffer we provided not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage instructions Lyophilized Human IL-18 proteinshould be stored desiccated below -20°C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.125% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping The product is shipped at ambient temperature.
