Product name | CheKine™ Micro Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase(PEPCK) Activity Assay Kit |
Applications notes | CheKine™ Micro Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase (PEPCK) Activity Assay Kit provides a simple, convenient and rapid method for PEPCK activity detection, which is suitable for testing animal and plant tissues, cells, bacteria, serum (plasma) and other samples. The principle is that PEPCK catalyzes the oxidation of oxaloacetate to produce phosphoenolpyruvate and CO2, pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase further catalyze the oxidation of NADH to produce NAD+ in turn, The rate of NADH decline was measured at 340 nm, which reflects PEPCK activity. |
Kit components | •Extraction Buffer •ReagentⅠ •ReagentⅡ •ReagentⅢ •Reagent IV •Reagent V |
Features & Benefits | • Determination of PEPCK activity in a variety of biological samples such as serum, plasma, tissues, cells, plants and bacteria. • Detailed sample preparation and result calculation methods are provided. • Simple operation steps. |
Usage notes | • 96 Well Clear Flat Bottom UV-Transparent Microplate is needed. • Do not mix or substitute reagents or materials from other kit lots or vendors. • The sample preparation must be done on ice to prevent the enzyme inactivation, and the enzyme activity should be determined on the same day. avoid repeated freeze-thaw. • Ensure all reagents and equipment are at the appropriate temperature before starting the assay. |
Storage instructions | Storage at –20°C and Keep from light immediately upon receipt. Kit has a storage time of 6 months from receipt. Refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components. |
Shipping | Gel pack with blue ice. |

Background | PEPCK (EC 4.1.1.32) is widely found in animals, plants, microorganisms and cells and catalyzes the conversion of oxaloacetate to phosphoenolpyruvate, a key enzyme in the regulation of gluconeogenic pathways. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
