Additional Information

Background CD2 molecule encoded by CD2 is a surface antigen found on all peripheral blood T-cells. CD2 molecule interacts with LFA3 (CD58) on antigen presenting cells to optimize immune recognition. A locus control region (LCR) has been found in the 3' flanking sequence of CD2.
Gene ID 914

Others The antibody detects endogenous CD2 proteins.
Accession P06729

Fig.1. Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon tissue. 1, CD2 Monoclonal antibody was diluted at 1:200 (4°C, overnight). 2, Sodium citrate pH 6.0 was used for antibody retrieval (>98°C, 20min). 3, secondary antibody was diluted at 1:200 (room temperature, 30min). Negative control was used by secondary antibody only.
