Mouse IGF-II Protein, His tag (Animal-Free)

    Views(197) Publications(0) Catalog No(PRP1191)

Descriptions:Mouse Insulin Like Growth Factors 2 (IGF-II) is a 7.34 kDa member of the Insulin-like Growth Factors with 67 amino acid residues. IGF-II is mainly expressed from early embryonic somatic tissues, liver, and epithelial cells lining the surface of the brain. IGF-II is mediating the embryonic development and placental growth, while also promoting tumor growth. IGF-II affects regulation of cell proliferation, growth, migration, differentiation and survival via binding to IGF-I receptor.

Mouse BAFF Protein, His tag (Animal-Free)

    Views(196) Publications(0) Catalog No(PRP1178)

Descriptions:BAFF also known as BLYS, TALL-1 and TNFSF13B, which belongs to tumor necrosis factor family. BAFF is a 31.2 kDa type II transmembrane protein containing 285 residues that predominantly produced by myeloid cells, furthermore mouse BAFF shares 72% sequence identity with human BAFF. BAFF has been demonstrated to activate the survival of B cells and the B cell response by binding to BAFFR/BR3. Additionally, BAFF also takes part in regulating B and T cell function via forming two ligands-two receptors pathway through sharing TNFRSF13B/TACI and TNFRSF17/BCMA receptors with APRIL.

    Human FGF9 Protein

    Views(194) Publications(0) Catalog No(PRP1071)

Descriptions:Fibroblast growth factor 9 (FGF9) also known as Glia-activating factor or Heparin-binding growth factor 9, is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein was isolated as a secreted factor that exhibits a growth-stimulating effect on cultured glial cells. In nervous system, this protein is produced mainly by neurons and may be important for glial cell development. Expression of the mouse homolog of this gene was found to be dependent on Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling. Mice lacking the homolog gene displayed a male-to-female sex reversal phenotype, which suggested a role in testicular embryogenesis. FGF9 plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell differentiation and cell migration. FGF9 may have a role in glial cell growth and differentiation during development, gliosis during repair and regeneration of brain tissue after damage, differentiation and survival of neuronal cells, and growth stimulation of glial tumors.
