| Usage notes | • This dilution solution is used ONLY for diluting ECL Reagent A. Do NOT use it to dilute Reagent B, antibodies or other experimental reagents, to avoid disrupting the luminescence system and causing signal failure. • A dilution ratio of 1:100 (1 part Reagent A + 99 parts dilution solution) is recommended. For extremely strong signals from high-abundance proteins, the dilution factor may be increased; for weak signals, the dilution factor may be reduced. Do not use the undiluted stock to detect high-abundance proteins. • The working solution must be prepared fresh and used immediately; prolonged storage causes decay of luminescence intensity. • Perform all operations in a clean environment to avoid contamination by impurities, detergents, or acidic/alkaline contaminants that may increase background or cause abnormal luminescence. • Keep the incubation and imaging process protected from light; strong light rapidly quenches the luminescence signal, leading to detection failure. • If excess washing buffer remains on the membrane, drain it before adding the working solution to avoid diluting the working solution and reducing detection sensitivity. • Invert and mix well before use for best results. |
