Product name | CheKine™ Micro Glucose Oxidase Activity (GOD) Assay Kit |
Applications notes | CheKine™ Micro Glucose Oxidase Activity Assay Kit provides a simple and easy colorimetric assay for detecting Glucose Oxidase Activity in biological samples such as in serum or plasma, cells, urine, other body fluid, food, growth medium. In this assay, GOD activity is determined by a coupled enzyme assay, in which GOD oxidizes D-glucose resulting in the production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) that reacts with chromogen in an acid condition, produce a product that can be measured at OD 580 nm. Therefore, the glucose oxidase activity present in the sample is proportional to the signal obtained. |

Background | The glucose oxidase enzyme (GOx) (EC 1.1.3.4) is a dimeric enzyme that catalyzes oxidation of β-D-glucose into hydrogen peroxide and D-glucono-1,5-lactone, which is hydrolyzed to gluconic acid. This enzyme is produced by certain species of insects, fungi, and bacteria. Glucose oxidase is widely used for the determination of glucose in body fluids and in removing residual glucose and oxygen from beverages, food and other agricultural products. Furthermore, Glucose oxidase is commonly used in biosensors to detect glucose. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
