Product name | CheKine™ Micro Glucose Assay Kit |
Applications notes | CheKine™ Micro Glucose Assay Kit provides simple, direct measurement of glucose concentrations in various biological samples, including serum, plasma, urine, other body fluid, food, growth medium, etc. In this kit, the improved o-Toluidine method utilizes a specific color reaction with glucose. The absorbance at 630nm is directly proportional to glucose concentration in the sample. |
Kit components | • o-Toluidine Reagent • Glucose Standard (300 mg/dL) |
Features & Benefits | • Optimized procedure for measuring glucose concentrations in various biological samples, including serum, plasma, urine, plant tissues, other body fluid, food, growth medium, etc. • Simple and easy colorimetric assay. • Quick and convenient. |
Calibration range | 4- 300 mg/dL |
Limit of detection | 4 mg/dL |
Usage notes | • Briefly centrifuge small vials at low speed prior to opening. • Performing several dilutions of your sample to ensure the readings are within the standard value range. • Use fresh samples. If not assayed immediately, samples can be stored at -80°C for one month. |
Storage instructions | Storage at –20°C. Kit has a storage time of 12 months from receipt. |
Shipping | Gel pack with blue ice. |

Background | Glucose (C6H12O6, FW: 180.16) is the primary biological fuel source used to generate the universal energy molecule, ATP. Due to its importance in metabolism, glucose level is a key diagnostic parameter for many metabolic disorders. Abnormal glucose levels have been associated with several metabolic dysfunctions such as hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, and diabetes mellitus. Measurements of glucose levels in tissues and body fluids (such as blood and urine) are often used for the diagnosis of glucose related disorders. Glucose levels are also monitored to check the efficacy of therapeutics such as insulin and sulfonylureas in type 2 diabetics. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
