Background | The irreversible destruction of fluorescent molecules caused by environmental influences such as light, pH and temperature, or the interaction of fluorescent molecules with other molecules is fluorescence quench. Fluorescence quench results in the weakening of the visible signal when observed by fluorescence microscope and laser confocal microscope. |
