Additional Information

Background Fibroblast growth factor 20 (FGF-20) is a member of FGF gene family, which currently has 22 members. Based on its structure, it is further classified as a member of FGF-9 subfamily. FGF-20 is known to bind to heparin. There are no reports of alternative splicing forms. However, it is known that there are three kinds of amino acid polymorphisms, and the single nucleotide polymorphism in the non-coding region that may affect the expression has a strong correlation with the risk of developing Parkinson's disease
Alternative FGFK
Accession Q9NP95
