In this kit, MCS catalyzes propionyl CoA and oxaloacetic acid to produce methyl citric acid, which further hydrolyzes to methyl citric acid, which promotes the conversion of colorless DTNB to yellow TNB with characteristic absorbance at 412 nm. |
