Product name | CheKine™ Micro Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) Assay Kit |
Applications notes | CheKine™ Micro Lactate Dehydrogenase Assay Kit provides a simple and easy colorimetric assay for measuring Lactate Dehydrogenase in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, tissue/cell lysates culture medium, fermentation and other biological fluids. In this colorimetric assay, LDH reduces NAD to NADH, which then interacts with a probe to produce a color (λmax = 450 nm). The assay is quick and convenient. |
Kit components | • Assay Buffer • Lactate • NAD • WST-8 • Enhancer • Lactate Dehydrogenase Standard (100 U/mL) |
Features & Benefits | • Optimized procedure for measuring Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) in various samples containing serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, tissue/cell lysates culture medium, plant tissues, fermentation and other biological fluids. • Simple and easy colorimetric assay. • Quick and convenient. |
Calibration range | 1- 20 U/mL |
Usage notes | • Briefly centrifuge small vials at low speed prior to opening. • Performing several dilutions of your sample to ensure the readings are within the standard value range. • Use fresh samples. If not assayed immediately, samples can be stored at -80°C for one month. |
Storage instructions | Storage at –20°C and Keep from light. Stable for at least 6 months at recommended temperature from date of shipment. |
Shipping | Gel pack with blue ice. |
Background | Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is an oxidoreductase (EC 1.1.1.27) presents in a wide variety of organisms. It catalyses the inter-conversion of pyruvate and lactate with concomitant inter-conversion of NADH and NAD+. It converts pyruvate, the final product of glycolysis, to lactate in hypoxic conditions. LDH quantification is of clinical interest as serum levels of certain LDH isozymes reflect pathological conditions in particular tissues. When disease or injury or toxic material damages tissues, the cells LDH is released into the bloodstream. Since LDH is a fairly stable enzyme, LDH has been widely used to evaluate the presence of damage and toxicity of tissue and cells. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
