Additional Information

Background CR2 encodes a membrane protein (complement C3d receptor 2), which functions as a receptor for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) binding on B and T lymphocytes. Genetic variations in CR2 are associated with susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus type 9 (SLEB9). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CR2.
Gene ID 1380
Alternative CR2; C3DR; Complement receptor type 2; Cr2; Complement C3d receptor; Epstein-Barr virus receptor; EBV receptor; CD21
Others The antibody detects endogenous CD21 proteins.
Accession P20023
Observed Band(KD) 113

Fig.1. Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue. 1, CD21 Monoclonal Antibody was diluted at 1:200 (4°C, overnight). 2, Sodium citrate pH 6.0 was used for antibody retrieval (>98°C, 20min). 3, secondary antibody was diluted at 1:200 (room temperature, 30min). Negative control was used by secondary antibody only.
