Product Information
- Product name
CheKine™ Serum Sodium Colorimetric Assay Kit
- Application notes
The kit provides a simple method for detecting the sodium concentration in serum samples. In the assay, The sodium and potassium pyroantimonate reagent in the serum form a precipitate in the weakly alkaline solution, and the amount of the precipitate is proportional to the sodium concentration. The sodium content in the serum can be determined according to its turbidity.
Product Properties

• Reagent A • Standard
- Features & Benefits
• Determination of the sodium concentration in serum samples. • Detailed sample preparation and result calculation methods are provided. • Simple operation steps. • Standard and standard curve line are provided.
- Usage notes
• Do not mix or substitute reagents or materials from other kit lots or vendors.
• Avoid foaming or bubbles when mixing or reconstituting components.
• Avoid cross-contamination, change pipette tips between additions of standards, samples and reagents. Also, use separate reservoirs for each reagent.
• Ensure all reagents and equipment are at the appropriate temperature before starting the assay.
• During the blood collection process, blood should be collected on an empty stomach, and sodium citrate anticoagulant should be avoided.
• When the measured absorbance value is greater than 1, it is recommended to measure after dilution.
• When the measured absorbance value is greater than 1, it is recommended to measure after dilution.
