Product name Human N-acetyltransferase 14 (NAT14) ELISA Kit
Reactivity Human
Applications ELISA
Applications notes This Human N-acetyltransferase 14 (NAT14) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate NAT14 in samples. An antibody specific for NAT14 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyNAT14 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for NAT14 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of NAT14 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Detection method Colorimetric
SampleType Cell culture supernatants, Other biological fluids, Plasma, Serum
Assay type Sandwich ELISA (quantitative)
Assay duration Multiple steps standard sandwich ELISA assay with a working time of 3-5 hours. It depends on the experience of the operation person.
Alternative NAT14; KLP1; K562 cell-derived leucine-zipper-like protein 1; K562 cells-derived leucine zipper-like protein 1; K562 cells-derived leucine-zipper-like protein 1; N-acetyltransferase 14

Additional Information

Background NAT14 (N-Acetyltransferase 14 (Putative)) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Cytochrome P450 - arranged by substrate type. GO annotations related to this gene include N-acetyltransferase activity. Probable acetyltransferase that binds the 5-GGACTACAG-3 sequence of coproporphyrinogen oxidase promoter. Able to activate transcription of a reporter construct in vitro.
Gene ID 57106
